Over de job

Binnen deze rol ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het online plaatsen van de concerten van onze muziekreizen. Je zorgt er niet alleen voor dat er posters gemaakt worden voor deze concerten, je zet deze ook online en promoot deze (veelal gratis) concerten via Facebook Ads. Daarnaast ben jij altijd op de hoogte van de gereserveerde tickets en signaleer jij waar extra promotie voor gemaakt moet worden. Je werkt samen met de Project Managers die verantwoordelijk zijn voor de verschillende reizen en concerten.

Dit is wie je bent

• Een 3e of 4e jaars student aan een hbo- of universitaire opleiding, gericht op communicatie, (Digitale) Marketing, Toerisme, Event Management of BM;

• Het gaat om een bijbaan van 5-10 uur (liefst verdeeld over 3 dagen), de ene week iets meer dan de andere week;

• Je bent creatief, neemt initiatief en werkt efficiënt;

• Je communicatie Nederlands en Engels is on point;

• Je hebt affiniteit met evenementen, reizen en concerten en bent sterk in social media;

• Ervaring met adverteren, online advertising en social media is mooi meegenomen!

What will you work on?

• Putting together itineraries for our group tours

• Discussing the tour options with our clients

• Finding suppliers all over Europe that best fit the wishes of our clients

• Communication with and booking of suppliers; hotels/restaurants/transport/venues/tour guides

• Administration (financial) of the group

• Inspection of the various tour elements

Who are we looking for?

• You can oversee the big picture but also make sure everything is arranged right down to the last detail.

• You have at least HBO working and thinking level;

• You are a talented organizer and perform well under pressure;

• You enjoy finding the most suitable locations and suppliers;

• You have good administrative skills;

• You are fluent in English and a second language is preferable (Spanish, French, German, Italian)..

Wens Travel, a leading travel agency specializing in tailor-made group trips for American groups, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager for Group Travel. As the Project Manager for Group Travel, you will be responsible for successfully planning and executing travel programs or components thereof, with a specific focus on music groups looking to perform during their trips.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including travel itineraries, accommodations, transportation, events, and other relevant activities.

• Coordinate all aspects of group travel, including negotiations with suppliers and partners to obtain the best rates and services.

• Ensure seamless execution of travel programs, swiftly addressing any challenges or hiccups that arise along the way.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to ensure their expectations are exceeded.

• Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve and tailor travel programs to their needs.

• Manage the budget and financial aspects of group travel.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager, preferably in the travel or event industry.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Capability to independently organize projects from start to finish.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

• Solid knowledge of the travel industry and experience in designing travel programs.

• Negotiation skills to secure the best deals with suppliers and partners.

• Problem-solving ability and the capacity to act quickly in unexpected situations.

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet specific customer needs and requests.

• Experience in arranging performances is a plus.

This is a part-time position with a minimum of 16 hours per week. Working hours are flexible and can be determined through consultation.

This position offers project-based engagement, allowing you to showcase your expertise and creativity on a project-by-project basis. You'll have the freedom to work independently while receiving support from a collaborative team when needed.
